Ethics Conference: Toxic workplaces and Psychological safety

We are thrilled to be partnering with Hugh James as part of their ethics conference on Thursday 27th June.

The conference is an opportunity to learn, to obtain practical tips that can be implemented in your workplace for positive change, to exchange views and experiences and to network amongst HR professionals from a broad range of sectors.

The event will offer a comprehensive agenda to enhance workplace culture and ethical standards, and cover a range of topics including:

  • Culture change in the workplace
  • The use of AI for resilience
  • Managing conflicting ethical values
  • Psychological safety and the neuroscience behind workplace interactions

The Insight team will be leading the following sessions:

Psychological safety
This session looks at what psychological safety is and isn’t. It will introduce practical approaches to increasing psychological safety in your own team as well as tips to support managers with their teams.  We will look at the benefits of psychological safety and how to promote its importance to senior leaders.

Our social brains
Why toxic cultures develop so quickly and can be so difficult to change. This session looks at the neuroscience and psychology behind the social bonds we create in work, the power of peer pressure, and the evidence-based culture change approaches that can build positive workplace cultures.
