Once in a while an event is born that shakes things up, it makes you think differently, and leaves you inspired. That event is DisruptHR!
DisruptHR is an information exchange designed to energize, inform and empower thought leaders in the HR field, and beyond. Over the course of an exciting evening, speakers will get 5 minutes each to teach us something. It’s a face paced event with ideas that make you think or help transform HR and tech, as we know it.

Disrupt HR Talk: How you meet is more important than what you talk about
When you tell someone you’re in back-to-backs all day or all week, it’s possible you might be communicating… …. ‘I’m way more important than you, don’t think I’m going to make time for you’ or ‘I have no control over my life, my diary is in charge’ What’s happening? We thought Covid would usher in a new dawn of humanness, but no, commerce is doing its thing and filling the time freed from commuting with ‘tasks’. Many know this, few know how to tackle it. Let’s look at ideas to change this, what needs to be in place for new practice to take root.

Disrupt HR Talk: Human Resources or Human Centric Strategy
Organisations are being challenged to have a more meaningful purpose, that drives positive societal change, while tapping into the wealth of human potential to build an agile, resilient organisation that can remain future-fit. As business leaders, Human Resources (HR) is often seen as a support function delivering resources of the human kind to the business. We aim to fundamentally challenge this notion, proposing HR is replaced by Human Centric Strategy. Human Centric Strategists are involved with driving strategy where people are truly at the heart of organisations. Creating an environment that allows people to thrive, be curious, and challenge the status quo; taking everyone on a journey to achieving purpose at the individual, team, and organisational level. We would like to bring Human Centric Strategy to Cardiff and awake the senses to a new possibility and leave you with practical ideas that you can apply.
